Graphic Design Work
Graphic Design work turnaround time is approximately 5 business days from the date that you have provided all necessary information and imagery and paid your deposit for graphic design work. The deposit for graphic design work covers the base fee to begin the artwork at $50. Graphic design work will then be billed at $20 per hour after the first hour, and the payment will be required before receiving the finished artwork free of watermarks. Graphic design work allows for the initial creation of the design and 2 revisions. A revision constitutes a change or variation to the design and is typically a change of less than 1/4 of the design. A revision is a slight modification to move forward toward the final design. A new design concept is not considered a revision. This means that a new design concept would be an addition to the order, and would need to be quoted separately, in addition to the current order quote. Any additional revisions after the first 2 will be billed at $20 per hour.
To ensure satisfaction, we encourage customers to provide inspirational pictures, color palettes, and company logos up front.
Occasionally due to large orders coming in, graphic design times may exceed the standard 5 business days. Bone Crusher Concepts tries to alert our customers in every case this happens, however, if you have a specific deadline that your order must be received by, please let us know.

Application of Vinyl Decals
Step 1: Clean the surface where the decal will be applied. Be sure to remove any grime, dirt, grease, dust, or anything that will prevent the decal from fully sticking. Make sure the surface is completely dry before beginning the application process. Avoid porous surfaces made from things like brick, cement, and leather, or your decal may not stick properly.
Step 2: Remove the backing by removing only part of it and begin applying the decal to the surface instead of removing the backing all at once, especially for larger decals. This will make it easier to manage the decal and make sure that it is applied smoothly. **For vinyl lettering, it is important to note that you will first position and then remove the backing.
Step 3: Position your decal how you want it. Use a level if necessary. Tip: Apply a strip of masking tape to the top of your decal and use that to properly position the decal and hold it in place. You can create a ‘hinge’ with the masking tape allowing you to lift the decal prior to removing the backing.
Step 4: Apply pressure. Start in one spot (usually a corner or top) and begin applying pressure using your hand or a squeegee, gradually working your way across the entire decal. Go slow, making sure to remove any excess air bubbles.
Step 5: Finishing touches. Once you’ve reached this point, use a squeegee to remove any minor air bubbles and remove all backing. You can now use the backing as a protective barrier between to protect your decal from scratches while using a squeegee. This step may include cutting off extra materials (especially for perforated decals). If you used masking tape to position your decal, you can remove that here as well.
Care Instructions
When a vinyl decal is aging, it may undergo oxidation that generates a white residue that appears chalk-like. This residue can obscure the color of your decal and make your image look bleached.
To restore the look of your vinyl decals and bring back color, consider using a specially designed vinyl restorative product while following the steps listed below:
-
Begin by using a soft cloth and a solution of water and detergent to take care of any superficial dirt on the decal. If there is mold or mildew on the decal, use a sodium percarbonate cleaner to remove the substances. Don’t use a scrubbing pad or rub too hard, as this can damage your decals.
-
Once you’ve removed any dirt and mold, rinse the decals off with water. After rinsing them, give them time to air dry.
-
Verify that the decals are completely dry and then wipe them off with rubbing alcohol. To do this properly, you’ll need to dab rubbing alcohol onto a soft cloth and then wipe the surface down with it. Softly wipe the surface until you can be sure that it’s entirely clean.
-
Finally, once the vinyl decal is entirely clean, find a vinyl restoring product to coat the finished product with.
Note that applying heavy pressure when washing, or pressure from an automatic car wash, may impact the durability of your decal.
